Winslow Subarea Plan Revisions Top Council Agenda

The City Council held a Special Business Meeting on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 280 Madison Ave N and via Zoom. The agenda focused on updates to foundational planning documents.

Key items included revisions to the Winslow Subarea Plan and Ordinance No. 2026-04. The council also discussed Ordinance No. 2026-05, implementing regulations for the updated Comprehensive Plan and Winslow Subarea Plan.

Revisions to several Comprehensive Plan elements were also considered, including Water Resources, Utilities, Capital Facilities, Land Use, and Housing. These updates reflect the current planning period and integrate new information since 2017.

Appointments were also on the agenda, including selecting a Deputy Mayor for July 1, December 31, 2026. The council also considered appointing a member to the Kitsap County Capital Grant Recommendation Committee and confirming an appointment to the Race Equity Advisory Committee.
