Policy 6020 Fund Accounts Sees Second Reading

Tuesday, October 29, the BISD board held a second reading of Policy 6020 System of Funds and Accounts. CFO Kim Knight presented the policy, updated per WSSDA model policy, which aims to ease budget pressures and provide financial flexibility by modernizing BISD's management of its Transportation Vehicle and Capital Projects Funds. Superintendent Amii Thompson also requested a first reading of Policy 1630 Evaluation of the Superintendent, stating, "I request board approval of Policy 1630 Evaluation of the Superintendent, first reading, as presented".
