Mauro Welcomed, FAR Program Extended to 2027

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-11, extending the Bonus Floor Area Ratio (FAR) Program's sunset provisions until June 30, 2027. This program regulates residential, commercial, and mixed-use development in Winslow. Council also welcomed new City Manager John Mauro and recognized Senior Accounting Technician Christy Shipman's retirement with a proclamation. Other actions included confirming Laura Ryser as City Representative to the Kitsap County Solid Waste Advisory Committee, with Adam Nebenzahl as Voting Alternate.
