Kim Knight Presents August Financials to BISD Board

At its September 24 meeting, the Bainbridge Island School District board received preliminary August 2026 financial reports from CFO Kim Knight. August revenues totaled $7,530,854.97 (year-to-date: $68,505,325.44), with expenditures at $7,688,235.16 (year-to-date: $65,762,153.70). The General Fund's preliminary August 2026 ending balance was $3,995,313.06. Dane Fenwick, Director of Facilities, Operations, and Capital Projects, updated the board on 2026 Capital Bond and Levy Planning, covering enrollment, capacity, and initial campus frameworks. The board also considered approving BHS Model UN field trips and donations, including $1,800.00 to Sakai Intermediate School from the Peter Marsh Foundation.
