John Mauro Presents City's 2027-2028 Budget

City Council received the 2027-2028 budget and six-year capital improvement plan on September 22. The $154.5 million biennial budget allocates $1.6 million for the Finch Green Affordable Housing project and $2.0 million for road maintenance, bringing total General Fund support for Streets to $4.2 million. It also adds two Utilities Technicians and one Mechanic. City Manager John Mauro said, "I’m grateful to the team for assembling a fiscally-responsible budget proposal that delivers on the Council’s stated priorities and invests in our future." Council deliberation continues through November 10 for final adoption.
