Indigenous Peoples’ Day Marks 10th Anniversary Celebration

Bainbridge Island celebrates its 10th annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday, October 12, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Senior & Community Center. The event features a screening and discussion of Strawberry Fields Forever: Picker Cabin Stories, an Elders Blanketing Ceremony, drumming, and a community potluck. Attendees are encouraged to bring something to share.
