Haizlip Submits School Improvement Plans to BISD Board

Associate Superintendent Kristen Haizlip submitted School Improvement Plans for the 2026-2027 school year to Superintendent Amii Thompson and the BISD board, who considered them during a special session on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Ms. Haizlip said, "I am submitting for your approval the School Improvement Plans for the 2026-2027 school year for all BISD Schools." Developed by each principal with their school leadership team, these plans outline goals related to the BISD Strategic Plan based on student data and needs assessments. Principals are scheduled to present their individual plans to the Superintendent and the board.
