Garcia Presents Work Plan; Council Discusses Comp Plan

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, City Council discussed the Comprehensive Plan and Winslow Subarea Plan Update in a study session, taking no formal vote. They reviewed consultant LMN's land use assumptions and modeling results to define the City's growth pattern through 2044 and meet housing targets (via CivicClerk). Zoning code changes and modeling assumptions will be discussed further at a future meeting.

Separately, the Planning Commission met Thursday, August 27, 2026, approving its August 13, 2026, minutes. The Commission also held a workshop to develop its 2027 Work Plan, following Planning Commission Chair Garcia's August 18, 2026, presentation to the Council (via CivicClerk).
