Dane Fenwick Updates Board on Capital Bond Planning

The Bainbridge Island School District board met September 24, 2026. Facilities Director Dane Fenwick updated on 2026 Capital Bond and Levy Planning and capital projects. These included Johnson Electric completing parking lot lights at Woodward Middle School and Beynon Sports scheduled to repair the BHS track in mid-October. Superintendent Amii Thompson and Instructional Technology Director Whitney Skarbek discussed the Technology Advisory Council and SY 2026/2027 technology levy budget, totaling $4,287,534.00. CFO Kim Knight reviewed August 2026 financials: $7,530,854.97 in revenues and $7,688,235.16 in expenditures. The board also considered BHS Model UN student field trips and accepted $1,800.00 in donations for Sakai Intermediate School.
