Council, Planning Commission, Design Review Board Recap

City Council met Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to discuss proposed amendments to Short-Term Rental Ordinance 2026-03 (via CivicClerk). Staff presented revisions for streamlining and enforcement. Council also reviewed the 2025 Annual Report and 2026 Workplan for the Ethics Board, and discussed future Planning Commission work, including a Park Zone/Overlay and Mandatory Inclusionary Zoning. The Planning Commission held a Public Participation Meeting Thursday, August 13, for the proposed ACME Long Subdivision along Ericksen Avenue (via CivicClerk). The Design Review Board reviewed the Animal Magnetizm Relocation Monday, August 17, with Auburn Lovett as project planner (via CivicClerk).
