COBI Surveys people on Speed Cameras

The City of Bainbridge Island seeks community feedback on a potential traffic camera program via an online survey until Thursday, October 29, 2026. This follows an October 14 community open house at Blakely Elementary School. Speeding has been documented at Blakely Elementary, Sakai Intermediate, Woodward Middle School zones, and Miller Road. The City said, "The goal of a potential program would be fewer speeding violations and safer roads, not generating revenue." City Council will review feedback and survey results on December 1, 2026.
