BISD Takes Up Electronic Signature Policy

The Bainbridge Island School District board met on September 10, 2026, reviewing policies for second reading and approving consent agenda donations. Associate Superintendent Ronald Boy presented Policy 6225, Use of Electronic Signature, which authorizes the District to use programs like Adobe Acrobat Sign for efficiency and resource conservation. Other policies for second reading included Staff Expression, Separation from Employment, Sick Leave, and Leave Sharing. Donations approved on the consent agenda included $11,134.28 to Bainbridge High School Volleyball from BHS Volleyball Boosters, $1,400.00 to Woodward Choir from Peter Marsh Foundation, and $2,555.28 to Sakai Intermediate School from Sakai PTO for a 6th grade celebration.
