BISD Board Considers Multiple Policy Revisions

On Tuesday, September 10, 2026, Associate Superintendent Ronald Boy presented policy revisions for a second reading to Superintendent Amii Thompson and the Bainbridge Island School District board. Key among these was new Policy 6225, Use of Electronic Signature, which authorizes the District to use electronic signatures like Adobe Acrobat Sign for efficiency and resource conservation. The board also considered donations, including $11,134.28 to BHS Volleyball from BHS Volleyball Boosters for a California trip, and $2,555.28 to Sakai Intermediate School from Sakai PTO for a 6th grade celebration.
