BISD Board Approves Policy 6100 Updates

At its October 8, 2026 meeting, the Bainbridge Island School District board approved Policy 6100 Revenues from Local, State, and Federal Sources. Chief Financial Officer Kim Knight noted the policy updates include gender neutrality and an outdated federal acronym. Superintendent Amii Thompson also received an update on 2026 Capital Bond and Levy Planning from Director of Facilities, Operations, and Capital Projects Dane Fenwick. This planning follows the Long-Range Facilities Plan adopted July 25, 2024.
