BISD Board Approves Donations for Sakai, BHS

At its September 24 meeting, the board approved two donations: $1,800.00 from the Peter Marsh Foundation to Sakai Intermediate School for music supplies, and $8,173.00 from the Seattle Foundation to Bainbridge High School for the Betsy Hodges memorial fund, benefiting graduating seniors. Director of Facilities, Operations, and Capital Projects Dane Fenwick updated the board on 2026 Capital Bond and Levy Planning. Chief Financial Officer Kim Knight reported on the General Fund's preliminary August 2026 financials, including revenues of $7,530,854.97.
