Amii Thompson Seeks Policy 1630 First Reading Approval

At the October 29 Bainbridge Island School District meeting, Superintendent Amii Thompson introduced the first reading of Policy 1630 Evaluation of the Superintendent, stating, "I request board approval of Policy 1630 Evaluation of the Superintendent, first reading, as presented." CFO Kim Knight also presented the second reading of Policy 6020 System of Funds and Accounts, updated per state legislation to ease budget pressures. The board accepted donations, notably $38,456.93 for BHS athletics from the Bainbridge Booster Club. Director of Facilities Dane Fenwick recommended a change order for District-Wide LED Retrofits.
