Amii Thompson Presents Capital Bond Update

At its October 8 meeting, the Bainbridge Island School District board received an update on 2026 Capital Bond and Levy Planning from Superintendent Amii Thompson and Director of Facilities Dane Fenwick. CFO Kim Knight presented Policy 6020 (first reading) on funds and accounts, modernizing Transportation Vehicle Fund management. Knight also sought approval for Policy 6100 (first and final reading), updating state and federal revenue language. The board approved donations, including $4,478.25 from the Sakai PTO for Sakai Intermediate School supplies.
